Kimberley Woods succeeded the bronze medal in the females’s kayak on day 2 of the Olympic Games, in Paris 2024. Kimberley put down a neat run of 98.94 seconds in the absolute to put herself in 2nd position after Jessica Fox.
With two oars to go, Klaudia Zwolinska from Poland rolled into the silver medal place and moved Woods into third position.

“I didn’t understand how my time would pose as I tossed my paddle. But I did learn I’d set down a run I was pleased. I swim as who I like to be.
“There was a time of a tense wait. I couldn’t manage the last two oars and had my chair in my hands. I attended the public and my group covered me.
“I’ve earned a trophy around my neck and I’m so glad.
“It delivers I’ve got so much power. I’m so happy with who I’ve stood the last three years in Tokyo. Bringing to the last line and proud of the things together”.
