Second-hand garments app Vinted has dumped an update to its delivery choices after users expressed it would make selling more complicated.

Vinted is prevalent in part because of the road of courier opportunities it offers, with vendors able to deselect all the clothes that do not suit their body – for instance, if a business needs them to print a brand and they don’t hold a printer.

But users conveyed this week that this inventory of shipping prospects had vanished from their shapes, and expressed their outrage on social media.

Vinted described to the BBC its in-app shipping choices had been replaced with their previous locations, after attending to user feedback regarding the change.

Vinted – ‘Really annoyed’

There are almost 16 million accounts on the app in the United Kingdom.

Olivia Lott, who resides in rural Devon, said she rode off InPost as a shipping choice because her closest drop-off issue was a 30-minute drive out in Exeter.

“I had a customer ask me if I could accomplish InPost, and I expressed that was good, but I reached into my surroundings and I couldn’t turn it on,” she spoke because the index of carriers wasn’t there.

Statements Made by People

While Olivia expressed the difference was inappropriate to her, others were more frustrated.

TikTokker Kerry stated: “I’ve had to proceed and withdraw five orders, which I’m irritated at. That was £60 value of orders.”

Some, like Theodora Philcox, wished it was a glitch.

She posted on X, previously Twitter: “@Vinted Please specify the glitch in the shipping locations. I have had to withdraw sales and others are accomplishing likewise. This will destroy your medium if it doesn’t get fixed fast. A massive number of individuals don’t have printers – you’re creating Vinted unthinkable to use as a seller.”

Users in specific areas cannot access all shipping choices – InPost does not work postal vaults in Northern Ireland, for instance.

Twenty-five-year-old Abbie from Yorkshire expressed that she couldn’t use InPost or Yodel to ship parcels. As there were no drop-off matters around her.

“Also, Royal Mail post offices are just available when I achieve, so it leads them out,” she reported BBC News.

Vinted advised the BBC that the difference was created on Monday.

In a report, the company stated: “We regularly push and trial further things to become Vinted.
